After a enjoying the weekend off to refresh the mind and body, the Hawks are back in action on Friday night when they take on the Blues at Etihad Stadium.
The Hawks headed into its scheduled bye weekend with nine wins and one loss and top of the AFL ladder – but now sit second on the table as the Cats defeated the Giants on Saturday.
Alastair Clarkson and his side will be looking to begin the second half of the season with a win and continue the momentum it gathered with nine straight wins in the opening 10 matches.
Friday night’s match against Carlton is Hawthorn’s first at Etihad Stadium for the year.
It is a fully ticketed match.
