Before departing for Perth on Saturday, the Hawks hit the track at the Ricoh Centre to prepare for the clash against the Eagles on Sunday.

The players participated in a number of different drills to make sure their skills are sharp for what will be a phyiscal and trying contest at Patersons Stadium.

From full ground drills to in close handballing, the players did it all.

The session ended with players practicing their goal kicking, with Lance Franklin, Luke Breust, Luke Hodge, Paul Puopolo and Josh Gibson all making sure they can convert when the opportunity arises.

Shane Savage and Puopolo also took it upon themselves to practice their snap shots under pressure as they worked together close to goal, alternating between who applies the pressure and who kicks the goal.
