FORWARD Jarryd Roughead is free to play in Hawthorn's Preliminary Final next Saturday after accepting a reprimand from the AFL's Match Review Panel.

Roughead was hit with a rough conduct charge against Collingwood's Chris Dawes in Friday night's Qualifying Final win over the Magpies.

The incident was assessed as reckless, low impact and body contact.

It drew 125 demerit points under the Match Review Panel system, that was decreased to 70 carry over points for the early plea and the forward's good record.

Hawthorn will take on the winner of Friday night's semi-final between Adelaide and Fremantle next Saturday 22 September at the MCG for a spot in the 2012 AFL Grand Final.
