Hawthorn Football Club has released its 2012 home-and-away fixture on hawthornfc.com.au which sees a number of highlights for the Club’s supporters and members.

Standout points of the Hawks’ 2012 season include seven home games at the MCG, 15 matches in Melbourne and the Club’s blockbuster season opener against 2011 Grand Finalists, Collingwood.

Hawthorn home games will include a mix of Saturday and Sunday games that will provide flexibility for families, while the Friday night MCG blockbuster matches are against two of the Club’s great rivals in Collingwood and Geelong.

The fixture also sees the Hawks travel interstate to Perth, Adelaide and Sydney in Rounds 4, 11 and 22, along with four home games at Aurora Stadium.

  • Round 1 opener against Collingwood at the MCG (Hawthorn’s home game)

  • Four home games in Tasmania including an historic Round 5 match against Sydney - the first time the Hawks have played a home-and-away match against the Swans at Aurora Stadium
