Down Syndrome Victoria encourages Hawks supporters to get involved in Buddy Walk 2010.

The event is part of an international walk-a-thon to help raise funds and awareness for Down syndrome.

Buddy Walk kicks off Down Syndrome Awareness Week and your participation can help Down Syndrome Victoria provide support to people with Down syndrome and their families.

Participation is free, so get your family or a group of friends together, bring a picnic and enjoy the day out.

Club mascot ‘Hawka’ believes in this cause and will be there to encourage participants along the way.

When: Sunday 10 October, walk begins at 10am
Where: Princes Park (Lawn three - off Royal Parade, close to MC Labour Park)
Registration: Free, from 8.30am
