Hawks partner with Tassie Junior Footy
Junior football throughout Tasmania has benefited financially with a $5,000 donation.
Junior football throughout Tasmania has benefited financially with a $5,000 donation to each of the three major junior football leagues - North West Junior Football Union/AFL NWJFA, Northern Tasmanian Junior Football Association, and the Southern Tasmanian Junior Football League. The $15,000 investment is further evidence of the Hawthorn Football Club's commitment to the Tasmanian Community.
The Club's commitment to Tasmania goes well beyond just playing games at Aurora Stadium. The Club is working closely with the Government, government agencies, local governments, AFL Tasmania and a number of other community groups to maximise the benefits of the partnership.
This is the second season the Hawks have provided funding to the three junior leagues around the state, which helps deliver valuable resources that allow those involved in junior football to continue the wonderful voluntary work that provides children access to local footy and a healthy active sport.
