Tourism Tasmania, proud sponsors of the Hawks v Bombers match on Sunday 5 August, held a kicking competition between three lucky Hawks supporters randomly selected from the crowd. The three contestants battled it out kicking from three different Tasmanian destination distances including Launceston at 10m, Hobart at 20m and Strahan at 30m with Hawka as goal umpire. Shane Purss from Mount Waverley took first place kicking three straight goals and won two economy flights to Tasmania, one night’s accommodation in Launceston, two reserved seats to the Round 20 Hawks v Power game at Aurora Stadium and a Tasmanian gift pack.
