What Clarko says

43. Amos Frank

From 48 in Will Langford to 2 in Jarryd Roughead each day i'll be giving my thoughts on each player on our list...

Today it's 23-year-old Amos Frank who will wear the number 43 guernsey in season 2012. He's a young player that we recruited in the most recent Rookie draft all the way from the APY Lands would you believe!? We're really looking forward to what Amos is going to be able to bring to our footy Club.

The APY Lands is a very remote part of Australia, our recruiters have done a wonderful job finding this young lad who's been playing close to home for a long period of time, also for representative aboriginal sides and one SANFL reserves match with the Woodville-West Torrens. It was at this match where our South Australian talent scout Geoff Morris identified Amos as a player who he could see featuring in the brown and gold colours in the future.

Very small in stature, Amos is only 169 centimeters tall but he's got great speed and tremendous skills on both sides of his body. In what we've seen from him so far we're very attracted to his ability to use the footy really well and also his ability to get in and out of trouble. He's won plenty of awards in the footy he has played in the APY Lands and we're really excited about what he might be able to achieve at our footy Club.

He'll commence his duties for the Box Hill Hawks in the 2012 season, and we see him featuring as a small forward in the early part of his career at the Hawks.

Tomorrow i'll feature another young player in Angus Litherland, so make sure you return to the website to follow our players in the build up to our 2012 season.
