We are pleased to announce Starlight Children’s Foundation received the most coins, meaning they will receive two tickets to the 2012 Toyota AFL Grand Final.
Starlight will be sending Mohamed El Shazly to the 2012 Toyota AFL Grand Final.
Mohamed is a courageous young Hawks supporter who has spent much of his young life in the Royal Children’s Hospital.
He recently became the first child in Australia to have an intestinal transplant after his internal organs failed due to a rare condition known as Hirschsprung’s disease.
Attending the grand final will be the experience of a lifetime for Mohamed.
Josh Gibson immediately became his favourite player when he met him during a visit to the Starlight Express Room.
‘Gibbo’ gave him the jumper off his back which he cherishes to this day.
In second place, Zaidee's Rainbow Foundation will receive a $500 donation from the CLub's Community department.
In third, a 2012 team signed guernsey will be donated to Beacon Foundation.
The Club is proud to have a partnership with Starlight that has grown over the years, providing valuable experiences to young Hawks fans in need of a distraction to put a smile on their faces.
Final results:
1st - Starlight Children’s Foundation (3193 coins) 2nd - Zaidee’s Rainbow Foundation (1201 coins)
3rd - Beacon Foundation (564 coins)
