Four Hawthorn players have re-signed with the Club, as the Hawks prepare for the 2010 season.

Premiership defenders Rick Ladson and Stephen Gilham have penned new two-year deals while Brent Guerra and Simon Taylor have also had their contracts extended.

Hawthorn’s General Manager Football Operation Mark Evans was pleased to confirm the re-signings.

“Stability and consistency in defence is the key to any success and it is great to have not only re-signed these players, but to have them all up and about and clearly looking forward to a full pre-season.”

“Rick and Stephen only managed 13 games between them in 2009, and I know they are both keen to make a major impact in 2010.”

Taylor has played 84 games with Hawthorn, since being drafted in 2004 from Hawthorn’s VFL affiliate club, Box Hill Hawks.
