Swansea Primary School students were lucky enough to have Brayley, Emma, and special guest Hawka visit their school to talk about healthy eating and the importance of exercise. Hawka enjoyed racing the kids on the scooter boards, running around with the footy drills and being active with all the kids.
The MBF Hawks Express made a special trip to the kinder and prep area, where the children told Hawka what pets they like to take for a walk and how they love to swim at the beach. It was great to see so many kids had their hands raised high in the air when they were asked who supports Hawthorn.
We would like to thank Principal David Wells for your kind hospitality, as well as Dylan and Blake for showing your Hawks colours on the day!
The Tassie Hawks in Schools program, delivered around the state by the MBF Hawks Express, was a successful and educational initiative for all involved.
We look forward to visiting more Tasmanian schools around the beautiful Apple Isle in 2010.
Go Hawks!
