Following a month of losses, Hawthorn's win over Carlton will likely ease the pressure and scrutiny on the club's match committee in the lead-up to Round 11.

But the Hawks 22 may be forced into change if Shaun Burgoyne is not able to prove his fitness ahead of the club's all-important clash with Fremantle.

There are a number of young Hawks pushing their cases currently in the club's recent scrimmage games.

Defender Changkuoth Jiath was elevated to the senior list last week, replacing the injured Ricky Henderson.

Jiath's form over the past month has been eye-catching, with the 21-year-old readily providing energy off the half-back line.

Turning 21 on Tuesday, Dylan Moore would surely appreciate his first taste of senior football in 2020.

He would deserve it too - proving to be a constant scoring source in the reserves' runs of late.

Darren Minchington had a pair of senior outings in Rounds 8 and 9 before being left out of the side that overcame the Blues.

It's not difficult to imagine the match committee giving him another chance to show his wares.

Hawthorn will name its team to take on Fremantle on Sunday at 6.20pm AEST.
