Conor Glass
Career AFL games: 17
Recent form: Assistant Coach Scott Burns suggested Glass has been the most in-form player of the reserves cohort over the last month. Making a shift to the midfield in recent weeks, the Irishman has looked comfortable in the new position, standing out with his power and size. One would suggest he would be being brought up in team selection discussions over the next period.
Daniel Howe
Career AFL games: 62
Recent form: With a few games now under his belt following a challenging foot injury, Howe is nearing full fitness and a potential chance at senior football in the coming weeks. Learning a new craft as a defender this season, the 25-year-old’s next opportunity at AFL level would likely come at the defensive end.
Michael Hartley
Career AFL games: 44
Recent form: Another one of the most in-form Hawks who is yet to feature at senior level in 2020, Hartley will be hopeful of pulling on a brown and gold jumper for the first time in the coming weeks. Playing predominantly in the backline of late, the 27-year-old also has the ability to go forward and have an impact around goals.
Changkuoth Jiath
Career AFL games: 2
Recent form: Recently elevated to the senior list in place of the injured Ricky Henderson, Jiath is now available at AFL level if called upon. His recent form would suggest he could well be in the mix too, with the coaches impressed by his energy and run off the half-back line in recent scrimmage outings.
Finn Maginness
Career AFL games: -
Recent form: The subject of much fan interest since arriving as a father-son recruit in last year’s draft, Maginness has shown a steady rate of improvement in his first season at the club. Working closely with teammates and coaches to improve his game sense across the course of the campaign, GM – Football Graham Wright last week alluded to Finn being a possible debutant before the year is out.
Mathew Walker
Career AFL games: -
Recent form: Walker had his run hampered by an ankle injury that hindered him from participating in scrimmage matches prior to the Perth quarantine period. The second-year Hawk’s potential and talent is there for all to see but he will be needing to string some consistent form together if he is to push for a senior debut in 2020.
Jacob Koschitzke
Career AFL games: -
Recent form: Standing at 196cm and 94kg, Koschitzke possesses the athletic attributes to take on a key position role at the higher level. He is still in a developmental stage in his learning of what that role entails but is building a reputation with his one-percenters and ability to get a spoil in on contests. He will continue to build through the club’s upcoming scratch matches.
Dylan Moore
Career AFL games: 7
Recent form: Moore is another one of the handful of players who have had previous senior exposure but are yet to get their chance in season 2020. Moore will have put himself in the conversation though in recent weeks, managing to amass strong numbers in recent scrimmage games. The recently-turned 21-year-old is among the best endurance runners at the club and, coupled with a strong goal sense, his chance could well be just around the corner.
Jackson Ross

Recent form: A proven goalkicker at reserves level, Ross has been given some exposure on the wing in recent weeks to expand his CV in the hope of a senior call-up in the coming weeks. A powerful and accurate kick, Ross has the ability to break through an opposition defence when playing up the ground.
Emerson Jeka
Career AFL games: -
Recent form: In his first season at the Hawks, Jeka has impressed from the get-go with his strong hands, willingness for the contest and movement as a key forward. In recent weeks, the Western Jets product hasn’t quite been able to have the scoreboard impact he would have hoped for. Nevertheless, the coaches have been pleased with his workrate and desire to learn throughout the club’s time away.
Harry Pepper
Career AFL games: -
Recent form: Pepper has spent the bulk of his debut season learning the craft of a small defender. A former basketballer, Pepper possesses the athleticism to play undersized as well. Development Coach Andy Otten has been a rap for the 19-year-old’s teamwork, commending him on the trust he has built with his fellow defenders in a short space of time.
Ned Reeves
Career AFL games: -
Recent form: A project ruckman, Reeves is beginning to show strong signs of development in his ruck craft and ability to impact the game around the ground. Standing at 208cm, Reeves is now in his second season at Hawthorn and spends much of his time under the tutelage of Ruck Coach Damian Monkhorst and teammates Ben McEvoy and Jon Ceglar.
Damon Greaves

Recent form: Having begun to expand his repertoire to include experience at the wing position, Greaves continues to impress coaches with his willingness to learn. A WA native, the 20-year-old has proven to be a reliable performer throughout the club’s set of scrimmage matches.
Will Golds
Career AFL games: -
Recent form: One of very few to be on the Hawthorn injury list at the moment, Golds is continuing to work his way back from a knee reconstruction in March. A popular member of the group, the 20-year-old ought to be commended on his attitude throughout his injury rehabilitation whilst in the hub.
James Cousins
Career AFL games: 19
Recent form: Seemingly always amongst the top performers at the reserves level, Cousins will be hoping he can play his 20th senior game and beyond in 2020. An explosive midfielder whose strength is his clearance work, Cousins has been amassing possessions in these scratch matches.
