James Worpel has received the nod from fans as the Round 13 MVP, presented by United Petroleum.
The midfielder was impressive across four quarters of Hawthorn’s clash against the Power, finishing with 26 disposals, five tackles and a game-high 29 pressure acts.
His 26 touches was the most of any Hawks on Saturday, closely followed by fellow mid Tom Mitchell on 25.
After a somewhat modest start to the year (by his lofty standards), the reigning best and fairest winner has ramped things up in the past two weeks, dominating the possession count and getting busy around the clearances.
Hawks fans got some insight into his preparation, when Worpel and Midfield Coach Sam Mitchell shared a glimpse of their one-on-one review following the Round 8 loss to the Swans.
