Some players just attract the eyes of the umpire and that is certainly the case for Tom Mitchell.
Mitchell led the Hawks with 10 Brownlow Medal votes in Sunday night's count, an impressive effort in his comeback season.
The 2018 Brownlow Medallist polled in five games, including best afield honours in the side's Round 16 loss to St Kilda as well as in the win over Gold Coast in the final round of the year.
Chad Wingard was the next best Hawk with six votes, made up of two three-vote performances, while Peter Crimmins Medallist Jack Gunston rounded out the club's top three.
Young Hawk Dylan Moore was also a talking point on the night as he registered the first Brownlow votes of his promising career, nabbing one vote for his outstanding game against the Suns.
