Details for Hawthorn's Round 9 and 10 fixtures have been released, with the club welcoming the return of family-friendly Saturday afternoon time slots.
The Hawks will host North Melbourne on Saturday 15 May at 2.10pm at University of Tasmania Stadium, before turning their attention to Carlton on Saturday 22 May at 1.45pm at the MCG.
The Roos clash will be the club’s second visit to Launceston for the season.
Hawthorn has a strong record against North in Launceston, having won four of the rivals’ last five encounters at the venue.
The following week’s game against Carlton will be a replacement game for members, the third of 2021.
The Hawthorn faithful will again be hoping recent history against the Blues continues in much the same manner, with the Hawks winning 17 of their last 18 meetings with Carlton.
The Round 9 and 10 fixture announcements lock in something of a 'festival of footy' for Hawthorn members throughout May, with member access to Round 7 v St Kilda (replacement game), Round 8 v West Coast (home game), Round 9 v North Melbourne (home game) and Round 10 v Carlton (replacement game).
The club’s Round 11 match-up with Gold Coast will see Hawthorn play in Darwin for the first time in its history before a mid-season bye the following week.
