The Hawks' stunning victory over GWS on Sunday sadly came with a cost as two important Hawks went down with injuries during the match.

Chad Wingard was subbed out of the game at three-quarter time with hamstring tightness, while Denver Grainger-Barras also left the field at a similar point in the game with concussion concerns.

Having injured his ankle at training in the lead-up to the Round 15 match, Jarman Impey is now set to undergo surgery.
