Dumont was recruited by Hawthorn as an Other Sport Rookie. The 31-year-old is a capped Matildas goalkeeper and a three-time A-League Women’s championship player. She also won the 2022 A-League Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year award. Dumont will be a dual-sport athlete in 2023, continuing to play soccer as well as serve as a registered nurse outside of sport.
