Sherriff comes across to the Hawks from Melbourne where she played 48 games and won a premiership. The 24-year-old winger is a lifelong Hawthorn supporter who is set to follow in the footsteps of her father Brett, who was drafted to the club in the 1988 pre-season draft. Sherriff played basketball as a junior before representing the Casey Demons at VFLW level where she was identified by Melbourne as an AFLW talent.
