Celebrate 100 Years of the Mighty Hawks!

Join us Sunday 4 May for Hawthorn's Centenary Match, a once-in-a-lifetime celebration that covers a century of passion, pride, and unforgettable moments for the brown and gold.

Be there for a moving pre-game ceremony, featuring Hawthorn legends and greats as they return to the field one more time. Celebrate with the champions who built our club’s legacy including Leigh Matthews, Peter Knights, David Parkin, Peter Hudson, Robert DiPierdomenico, John Kennedy Jr, Gary Ayres, Michael Tuck, John Platten, Shane Crawford, Daniel Harford, Nick Holland, Trent Croad, Chris Langford, Chance Bateman, Ben Dixon, Luke Hodge, Jordan Lewis, Jarryd Roughead, Brian Lake, Josh Gibson, Isaac Smith and more. It’ll be topped off with a special live performance by the iconic Kate Ceberano.

This is more than just a match — it’s a tribute to the club’s incredible legacy and the members who’ve shown their support every step of the way. For those without reserved seat entitlements, we recommend you secure your tickets as early as possible to this special match. The Club hopes as many Hawks fans and general footy fans as possible will join us to celebrate our 100-year milestone.

Plan ahead, arrive early

Due to increased security measures at the MCG, we recommend members and fans arrive early to avoid long queues and ensure venue access ahead of the first bounce.

Additionally, be mindful of what is in your bag. Ensure bags are small and items carried meet MCG conditions of entry.

 

 

See our FAQs below for general info on getting to the MCG and please note the following travel disruptions:

  • Buses replace trains on the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines between Parliament and Caulfield stations from 8:30pm Friday 2 May until the last train Sunday 4 May.
  • Buses replace trains on the Werribee Line between Newport and Werribee from 8:30pm Sunday 4 May until the last train.
