Our Sir Doug Nicholls Round game will feature a Welcome to Country ceremony pre-match, and our players will wear the club's 2025 Indigenous Guernsey. See game-day timings below.

Plan ahead, arrive early

Due to increased security measures at the MCG, we recommend members and fans arrive early to avoid long queues and ensure venue access ahead of the first bounce.

Be mindful of what is in your bag. Ensure bags are small and items carried meet MCG conditions of entry.

Additionally, note travel disruptions below which could add time to your trip.

 


 

Travel Disruptions

 

🚆 Train Disruptions

  • Buses replace trains on the Werribee Line between Werribee and Newport stations from 10:30pm Friday 23 May until the last train on Sunday 25 May.
  • Buses replace trains on the Sunbury Line between Sunshine and North Melbourne stations on Saturday 24 May and Sunday 25 May.
    Passengers on the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines will need to change at Caufield Station and get a Frankston Line train into the city from Saturday 24 May until 8:45pm on Sunday 25 May.
  • Coaches replace trains on the Ballarat and Ararat lines between Ararat, Ballarat and Southern Cross stations from Saturday 24 May until Saturday 7 June.
  • Coaches replace trains on the Maryborough Line between Ararat, Ballarat and Maryborough stations from 8:50pm Friday 23 May until 7:20pm Sunday 8 June.
  • Coaches replace trains on the Gippsland Line between Bairnsdale, Traralgon and Southern Cross stations from 8pm Friday 23 May until the last service Sunday 25 May.
     

🚋 Tram Disruption

  • Buses replace trams on Tram Route 75 between Stop 39 Camberwell Tram Depot/Riversdale Rd and Stop 75 Vermont South Shopping Centre/Burwood Highway until Tuesday 27 May.
     

🚗 Road Disruption

  • Flinders Street (eastbound) is closed between Elizabeth and Swanston streets.
