Pre-Game
To celebrate NAIDOC Week, we have a special pre-game ceremony in store for you! Be in your seats early to join proud Wurundjeri elder, Aunty Joy Murphy, for the official Welcome to Country, followed by Dharug man Kiernan Ironfield with his yidaki and the Koori Youth Will Shake Spears Aboriginal Dance Group.
As the lights at Marvel Stadium are dimmed in celebration of NAIDOC Week, we will take a moment of reflection, followed by a showing of unity to recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We strongly encourage fans to arrive early on Sunday, with proceedings commencing from 2.45pm.
Half-Time
We also a special half-time performance to celebrate NAIDOC Week.

Train
Walk from Southern Cross Station via the pedestrian bridge to Marvel Stadium. It's around a four-minute walk. If you’re coming from outside Melbourne, V/Line Services will take you to Southern Cross Station.
Trams
Trams run to Marvel Stadium from LaTrobe Street and Harbour Esplanade. They also stop in the CBD on Spencer Street, Bourke Street and Collins Street and all are a short walk to the venue. Visit PTV for more information.Bourke Street / Spencer Street footbridge entrance:

Bus
The bus terminus is at Southern Cross Train Station and services airport transfers as well as routes across country Victoria. Marvel Stadium is a short walk across the Bourke Street pedestrian footbridge from the bus terminus.
Walking
An elevated, 20-metre-wide pedestrian footbridge connects Marvel Stadium to Southern Cross station and intersection of Spencer and Bourke streets.
What's on the day before - Open Training
Join us at our open training session on Saturday 9 July at 10am at Bunjil Bagora, Waverley Park. Our inaugural AFLW team will start training at 8.30am, followed by the men's team at 10am.
