Hawthorn Football Club is delighted to announce wingman Karl Amon has nominated the Hawks as his club of choice ahead of this year's upcoming free agency period.

The club will work its way through the process of signing Amon during the period, which commences Friday 30 September.

Hawthorn National Recruiting and List Manager Mark McKenzie said the club was extremely pleased to receive the news.

"It's certainly great news for the club to hear that Karl wants to be a part of what we are building here at Hawthorn," McKenzie said.  

“Karl complements our current list strategy and the direction we are taking as a club.”
