Hawthorn will make history on Saturday night at Marvel Stadium when it plays its first ever AFLW game.
The match is set to be an unmissable spectacle with the Hawks facing off against their archrivals Essendon.
It’s also a special occasion for star winger Kaitlyn Ashmore, who is set to play her 50th AFLW game.
The team will be led out by inaugural captain Tilly Lucas-Rodd while Bec Goddard finally has the opportunity to coach the team she has supported her whole life.
Plus, the Hawthorn faithful will get to witness women running through the banner to the iconic tune for the first time in the club’s storied history.
