Captain James Sicily has taken out Hawthorn's final MVP for the season after his dominant performance in his side's loss to Fremantle.

Sicily finished with 25 disposals at 88 per cent disposal efficiency, a game-high 12 marks (three contested), 11 intercept possessions and five score involvements. 

The 28-year-old has been a stand-out performer all year for Hawthorn, with his nomination marking his fourth MVP for this year, having also topped the voting in Round 11, Round 19 and Round 21.
