Last time we met
Fremantle (49) def Hawthorn (44), Round 10, S7
Last season's encounter marked the last AFLW games for Hawthorn's Jess Duffin and Fremantle's Kara Antonio.
Duffin began the game with a bang, kicking the first goal of the match.
Midfielder Charlotte Baskaran then crept forward and got on the scoreboard herself, giving the Hawks a 13-point lead at quarter-time.
From there, Fremantle's Aine Tighe took over, kicking four goals for the match and playing a big part in the Dockers' win.
Tahlia Fellows, Aine McDonagh and Aileen Gilroy got on the scoreboard in between but it wasn't enough as Fremantle ran away with the five-point victory.
Captain Tilly Lucas-Rodd was Hawthorn's best-on-ground, recording 26 disposals to go with seven tackles and six clearances.
Lucas-Rodd stood up in the absence of Jasmine Fleming, Bridie Hipwell, Laura Elliott and Emily Everist, who all missed the match due to Year 12 exams.
