Hawthorn has made one change for its battle with St Kilda on Saturday afternoon at RSEA Park.

Young defender Mackenzie Eardley has recovered from concussion to make her way back into the team while Sophie Locke has been omitted.

Hawthorn General Manager of Football Operations Max Bailey said Eardley was a welcome inclusion.

"With St Kilda boasting a couple of talented forwards, Mackenzie will add some stability to our backline," Bailey said.

"Saturday will be a great opportunity for her to continue to develop her game as a key defender and we look forward to having her back out there."

The Hawks will be aiming to avenge last year's loss to the Saints and get back on the winners' list this season, having suffered three straight losses against inaugural AFLW teams.

Tickets for the game are $10 for adults while kids go in free.
