Brisbane premiership trio Emily Bates, Greta Bodey and Jesse Wardlaw are now split across the two teams, with Bates and Bodey meeting Wardlaw for the first time in red, white and black.

Last time we met

Hawthorn (10) defeated by St Kilda (63)

It was a rough day for the Hawks during their first-ever home game at Box Hill City Oval.

At the opening bounce, Tamara Luke went down with an ACL injury and not long after, Louise Stephenson was sidelined with an ankle injury.

It allowed the Saints to pile on four opening-term goals with another five coming for the rest of the game.

Aileen Gilroy scored Hawthorn's only goal of the day, her first major in brown and gold, but it wasn't enough as the Saints ran out as 53-point winners.

In tricky conditions, skipper Tilly Lucas-Rodd led from the front with 21 disposals, 13 tackles and five clearances.
