Hawthorn defender Catherine Brown is the only player on the Hawks’ injury list after she ruptured her ACL at training last week.
The 29-year-old will be sidelined for the rest of the season but is in good spirits.
AFLW High Performance Manager Olivia Knowles said Brown will be heading under the knife in the coming weeks.
“She’s seen the surgeon late last week and we’ve got a date for surgery booked in a week or two’s time,” Knowles said.
“She’s in the club at the moment doing her prehabilitation work preparing for that.”
During Saturday’s 14-point win over Sydney, defender Laura Elliott was a late out due to illness while forward Greta Bodey suffered a nasty headclash.
However, both players are expected to be available for selection ahead of Friday night’s Indigenous Round fixture against Richmond at Cazalys Stadium.
