Hawthorn's Tassie fans will get an early taste of footy in 2024 when the club heads to UTAS Stadium at Launceston to take on the Western Bulldogs as part of the AAMI Community Series.
The twilight pre-season match will take place on Saturday 2 March, with the first bounce scheduled for 6.10pm.
Hawthorn Chief Executive Officer Ashley Klein said the club was looking forward to its first match-up of 2024.
"We’re really excited to be able to host the Bulldogs at our home away from home in Launceston,” Klein said.
"With many new faces having recently arrived at our club, this opening hit-out will provide valuable experience for our young side prior to commencing our 2024 campaign.
"We're really looking forward to connecting with our Tassie members and fans in a pre-season setting, in addition to hosting our four home and away games in the state across the year.
"We can't wait to see as many of our members get down to UTAS in the first weekend of March to get their first glance of our 2024 line-up.”
