The 19-year-old not only impressed with her marking and composure but also her ability to get up the ground and impact the game.

This was a breakout game for Elliott, who recorded a career-high 15 disposals and six marks.

What was also evident in this performance was the emerging defender's work rate, building on the midfield minutes she spent with Box Hill in the off-season.

She also recorded 15 disposals against Geelong in Round 10 and 11 against Fremantle in Round 3, taking her double-digit disposal tally to three for the year.
