Hawthorn is proud to announce its 2024 Le Tan Emergency Services Match, taking place in Round 23 at the MCG as the Hawks face Richmond on Sunday 18 August at 3.20pm. 

Now in its fifth year, the match will recognise emergency services personnel and the tireless work they do, while also raising awareness about the impact this sort of work can have on their mental health and wellbeing. 

As part of the match, the following organisations will be recognised:

  • Victorian Council of Churches Emergencies Ministry 
  • Life Saving Victoria 
  • Red Cross 
  • Country Fire Authority 
  • Marine Search and Rescue
  • Fire Rescue Victoria 
  • St John Ambulance 
  • Forest Fire Management 
  • Victoria Police 
  • Triple Zero Victoria 
  • Ambulance Victoria

This year, Le Tan has thrown its support behind the game as the naming rights partner.

Le Tan will also proudly support the club’s digital content, helping shine a light on ordinary people doing extraordinary things in the various Emergency Services sectors. 

Hawthorn Chief Executive Officer Ash Klein was delighted to announce the continuation of the special match.

“We are thrilled to unveil the 2024 Le Tan Emergency Services Match, which has been an important game in our AFL calendar for the past few years,” Klein said.

“As a club, we are proud to formally recognise our selfless Emergency Services workers by celebrating the tireless work they do, whilst also raising awareness around the mental health challenges faced by people in these roles as they protect the community.

“We are also delighted to welcome Le Tan as the naming rights partner of this year’s match.

“It is wonderful to not only have Le Tan as a naming rights partner but also being able to collaborate digitally through our vibrant content and marketing campaigns.

“Having Le Tan’s support means we can elevate the work we do as a club to recognise our Emergency Services workers while also providing opportunities for those workers as well as our brown and gold faithful to experience their exciting product offerings.”
