Hawthorn has named its team to take on the Swans for its official AFLW practice match.

The Hawks will be aiming to emulate their solid performance against Essendon in their match simulation hit-out, with all but a few players taking to the field at the SCG on Saturday.

Fans can anticipate another taste of what’s to come in season 2024, with Aine McDonagh coming off a three-goal haul against the Bombers and young gun Sophie Butterworth providing a tall target up forward, as well as the Hawks' new midfield mix in action.

Captain Emily Bates will also lead the Hawks out in an official capacity for the first time.

The game kicks off from 2pm at the SCG, with gates to open from 1.45pm.

Entry via Gate A and is free for all fans.

If you can't make it to the SCG, the game will be live-streamed on hawthornfc.com.au.
