Fresh from breaking the club's all-time membership record, Hawthorn has thanked its 83,823 members for their support in 2024 after passing the annual cut-off date.

The commitment of the brown and gold faithful has been on full show this season, riding the amazing finals run by the AFL Hawks, whilst enjoying the early-season success by AFLW Hawks, who sit atop the ladder, undefeated.

The loyalty and dedication of Hawthorn members was felt at every home game in 2024, with an average attendance of 52,920 at the club's MCG home matches, while on average, 12,305 fans filled UTAS Stadium across the Hawks' four games in Launceston.

Hawthorn CEO Ash Klein said the extraordinary membership tally was a reflection of the unwavering passion from the club's members.

“We want to thank every single one of our 83,823 members for their loyal and enthusiastic support over the 2024 season, we’re incredibly grateful to have you part of our journey," Klein said.

“To surpass 80,000 members for the third straight season is a testament to the passion and devotion of our members.“Our members play such a vital role in our success both on and off the field, we couldn’t do it without them.

“Excitingly, our 2024 story is still being written, and we need to keep the momentum rolling we prepare for a Semi Final against Port Adelaide.

"Whether you're travelling over to Adelaide or following from afar, the support of our members will play an important role on Friday."

With the AFL program heading into a Semi Final this weekend and the AFLW sitting 2-0 and atop the league ladder for the first time in the club’s history, now’s the time to get on board for 2025 as Hawthorn continues to build towards premiership success.
