Hawthorn has drafted Noah Mraz with Pick 35 in the 2024 Telstra AFL Draft.
The Dandenong Stingrays product is a mobile defender with a strong aerial presence, specialising in intercept marking.
The 18-year-old averaged 19.5 disposals and four marks in his first two Coates Talent League matches for the year before an ankle injury in an under-18 match against Coburg sidelined him for the rest of the year.
Despite this injury setback, Mraz has shown promise both as a top and bottom-ager, making his Stingrays debut at 16 years old before playing a further 12 games as a 17-year-old.
The mobile tall has also represented Vic Country at under-16, under-17 and under-18 age groups.
Hailing from the Narre North Foxes, the 198cm defender will add to Hawthorn’s strong defensive stocks in 2025.
