Hawks skipper Emily Bates has capped off her super 2024 AFLW season, finishing in equal-fourth place in the league's best and fairest vote count, with 17 votes.
There were eight other Hawks to poll votes in the league best and fairest count with vice-captain Eliza West the next highest with 12 votes and in equal-seventh place.
Aileen Gilroy finished next best with seven votes, Jasmine Fleming six, Greta Bodey four, Mattea Breed and Tilly Lucas-Rodd three and Aine McDonagh and Lucy Wales with two votes each.
On six occasions the Hawks polled all possibles votes, against Collingwood, St Kilda, Geelong, West Coast, Melbourne and Richmond.
While four Hawks were awarded votes for the first time in their careers, in Week 2 against Collingwood it was Fleming with three votes and Mattea Breed with two.
While our Irish duo Gilroy and McDonagh polled their first votes in Week 5 against Geelong with three and two votes respectively.
And votes aside, two Hawks made history as the first to be selected in the All Australian team, with Aileen Gilroy named at half forward and Tilly Lucas-Rodd off half back.
