With a new season comes new numbers, and the Hawks have unveiled the guernsey numbers for each of the seven new recruits, as well as a number change for an existing player.
The most experienced this this year’s crop of new players, Najwa Allen will wear the number 4 in 2025. The premiership Crow formerly donned the number 8 with Adelaide.
Lavinia Cox will begin her AFLW career in the number 8 after being selected at Pick 15 from the Bendigo Pioneers.
After wearing the number 22 in her time with the Bulldogs, restricted free agent Keely Coyne will wear number 9 for the brown and gold for 2025.
Casey Sherriff will change her number, going from the number 14 she wore in her debut season with the Hawks to the recently vacated number 12 heading into 2025.
Daisy Flockart will wear the number 14 in her first season in the brown and gold. With Sherriff having vacated the number, Flockart gets the chance to make her mark in the 14 guernsey.
Grace Baba takes on the number 15 in her first season, with the defender set to become just the second AFLW Hawk to wear the number.
Elli Symonds will wear the number 21 in the brown and gold after being selected at Pick 45 from the Dandenong Stingrays.
And last but not least, in her first season as a Hawk Rebecca Clottey will don the number 26.
