A brief update on Hawthorn's new home at the Kennedy Community Centre, with the total project now 75% complete.
From a construction perspective, facade panelling is now complete on the Harris High-Performance Centre, while works are ramping up on the state-of-the-art aquatic zone, which includes a 25-metre lap pool, three plunge pools (hot, cold & magnesium) and sauna. Meanwhile, the 100-seat indoor theatre is beginning to take shape inside the facility, with acoustic panelling now being installed.
The next phase of construction will be focused on the external glazing of the Harris HPC to ensure it is watertight by Easter. Over at the Community Pavilion, the momentum has continued with the roof structure nearing completion which has really brought this amazing facility to life.
