EXPERIENCED ruckman David Hale has played in plenty of finals campaigns, and they don’t get any less exciting.

Hale can’t wait for the Hawks’ 2015 finals campaign to get underway, against West Coast Eagles at Domain Stadium on Friday night.

“Its what you play footy for, so it’s going to be exciting to get into it again and hopefully we’ve got four weeks at it,” he said.

The Hawks will fly to Perth tomorrow, and Hale says the trip west holds no fears for the team.

“Going over there and beating them on their own turf (in Round 19) give us confidence that if we can implement that sort of style we can get the job done,” he said.

“The boys will take some confidence (out of that win), (but) obviously finals are a whole new ball game, so the pressure will be up.

“With their home crowd as well, we’ve got to take that (factor) away early and get off to a good start.”
