SKIPPER Luke Hodge and first-year Hawk Daniel Howe have both been nominated for AFL Players' Awards.
Hodge is the Hawks' nominee for the Most Courageous Player of 2015 award, while Howe has been nominated for the Best First Year Player Award.
Both awards are peer-voted.
During the first round of voting, players were asked to nominate the teammate they believed was the most courageous, and the most outstanding in his debut season.
The highest vote-getter at each club was then listed as a nominee in the second round of voting.
From there, players from all 18 clubs vote for the player they believe should win the award. Players are forbidden from voting for teammates in the second round of voting.
Past winners of the Robert Rose Award for the AFL’s Most Courageous Player include Paul Kelly, Glenn Archer, Jonathan Brown and Joel Selwood, while Marcus Bontempelli, Jaeger O'Maera and Jeremy Cameron have won the pas three best First Year Player Awards.
The winner of both awards will be announced at the AFL Players’ MVP Awards on Tuesday night.
