AS another massive year draws to a close, hawthornfc.com.au has decided to count down some of the Hawks' best on-field moments of 2015.

There were plenty - and we're convinced there were plenty not on this list that deserve to be - because it has been another exceptional year for the team.

Yesterday we kicked off the top 15 moments of 2015 with 15 to 11.

Today we look at moments 10 to seven.

10. Roughead kicks seven, Hawks beat Bulldogs by 70

Vice-captain Jarryd Roughead dominated in the Hawks’ 70-point win over the Western Bulldogs in Round 3.

‘Roughy’ amassed 28 disposals, while his season-high seven goals (the most by a Hawk in 2015) provided fans with a lengthy highlight reel.

Skipper Luke Hodge also had a day out – as did plenty of his teammates – gathering 44 disposals and kicking two goals.

9. Cyril bags six against the Cats

The Hawks led from start to finish as they overcame the Cats for the second time in season 2015.

Cyril Rioli was arguably the Hawks’ best, as he tore through the Cats’ defence to finish with a season-best return of six goals and a lengthy reel of highlights.

8. Hawks inflict Fremantle’s biggest loss under Ross Lyon

Facing ladder leaders Fremantle in Launceston, the Hawks were expected to have their work well and truly cut out for them.

But with Sam Mitchell prolific through the midfield and Peter Crimmins Medallist Josh Gibson starring down back, the Hawks soared to a 72-point victory – the largest defeat the Dockers had suffered under Coach Ross Lyon.

7. Rioli special seals win against Collingwood

Challenged right until the end in their Round 14 encounter, Hawthorn was able to overcome Collingwood in the final minutes.

Cyril Rioli’s five goals were crucial, but it was arguably a miraculous gather near centre-half back that was his most critical contribution, not only denying Collingwood a forward entry and an opportunity to steal the game, but set up a chain of Hawks possessions that ended with Luke Breust kicking the match-sealing goal.
