The Crows expect co-captain Walker to be ready to face Carlton at the MCG on Saturday. Walker hyperextended his elbow in last weekend's loss to Essendon, that aggravated a previous injury from the loss to Geelong a few weeks earlier. Ellis-Yolmen is at least another week away and he will progress to over-ground running this week. McPherson has suffered yet another setback, this time injuring his hamstring late in the Crows' SANFL clash with North Adelaide. Hunter could miss the rest of the season with a mid-foot Lisfranc ligament sprain sustained in the same game. - Lee Gaskin

The Blues have made the decision to rule Curnow out for the rest of the season due to persistent pain in his knee. However, there is some good news for the club. Cuningham is back running following his own knee problem, while Goddard is also in contention for a return after fracturing his cheekbone a fortnight ago. - Riley Beveridge

Aish will be sidelined but Mayne remains a chance and Elliott could return to face Richmond at the MCG on Friday night. Greenwood and Noblewill again miss out and Thomas will be assessed, while Moore will miss at least another fortnight with a "minor" hamstring injury. Reid faces an uphill battle to play again this season after another setback, while Murphy's return has been delayed by another week, andKelly is also being managed conservatively. Stephenson will be available at finals time while Wells will race the clock to return before season's end. But the campaign seems over for Langdon and veterans Dunn and Beams, with the latter now taking indefinite leave to deal with his mental issues. - Ben Collins

There is serious doubt over the fitness of Heppell (foot) and Fantasia (hip) for this week's trip to Gold Coast. However, the Bombers should regain ruckman Clarke after he missed last week's win over Adelaide with illness. Laverde should also come back into the team after being managed for the clash, while important pair Bellchambers and Hurley are some time away with their respective injuries. - Callum Twomey

Fyfe was in hospital last week on a drip dealing with an infection in his troublesome right elbow but is likely to be on the plane to face the Bulldogs. Lobb has undergone scans after his shoulder partially popped out in the late stages of the one-point win over Sydney and hasn't been ruled out. Hill is out indefinitely after yet another quad strain, and there is a watch on Aaron Sandilands to see how he pulls up from his second game back. Hogan has undergone more surgery on his navicular bone in his foot after a recurrence ended his season, with a four-month rehab ahead. Cox has had a setback with his hip. - Travis King

Finally some good news with Bowes and Ainsworth set to return after lengthy stints on the sidelines. Murdoch is also due back after missing a few weeks, while Martin is coming back quickly than expected and could be back in a week. - Michael Whiting

Phil Davis was a late withdrawal from last week's win over Collingwood with soreness but has trained this week and been cleared to face Port Adelaide. Kennedy is a chance to play after he was sent to hospital to check an elevated heart rate during the NEAFL game on Saturday. The defender had more tests on Tuesday. Kelly will miss another couple of games and looks set to return against Hawthorn in Canberra in round 21, while de Boer could be back the following week. - Adam Curley

Impey's season is over after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee on Sunday, as well as sustaining damage to his lateral ligament. He underwent a knee reconstruction on Tuesday. Birchall was a late withdrawal last week and the Hawks are hopeful he can return against Brisbane on Saturday. He still looked a bit ginger on Tuesday, so the club's main session on Thursday will likely be the key to his hopes. Minchington's hamstring setback in the VFL was his third for the year and came at a time he was pushing for senior selection. Moore and Morrison are edging closer after multiple games out, but Scrimshaw and Schoenmakers continue to progress slowly. - Marc McGowan

Just the one player has come off Melbourne's lengthy injury list, with Tim Smith playing VFL after a calf injury. Weideman didn't play at either level after being listed as a test last week. Co-captain Viney suffered a concussion in the first half of the loss to West Coast, with the club to confirm later this week whether he will be fit for this week's clash with St Kilda. – Sarah Black

Shaun Higgins (AC joint) and Mason Wood (quad) successfully returned to the senior side against Brisbane, while Thompson will have to pass a fitness test for his fresh injury. Tom Murphy (ankle) resumed in the VFL and played three quarters, as did Majak Daw (pelvis/hips) in his third game back on Sunday. The Roos held Garner out of the VFL last weekend to ensure he would be fit for a potential shock AFL call-up this week. Nick Larkey will continue to play before undergoing minor post-season heart surgery, after being diagnosed with Supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), but Jacobs' season is predictably over. There is good news for Tyson, who is no longer 'to be confirmed' and could feasibly return this weekend if declared fit. - Marc McGowan

Co-captain Wines is an outside chance to return for Saturday night's clash with Greater Western Sydney at Adelaide Oval. Wines will train with a splint on his fractured thumb, but he's more likely to return next week. Houston will have to pass concussion tests this week after sustaining a head knock in the Power's loss to Richmond. Ebert won't play again this season unless the Power make the finals with a torn PCL in his knee, while Burton will miss at least a month with a hamstring injury. Rookie-listed forward Cox will see a specialist on Friday to see if he is a chance to return this season from a lacerated kidney. - Lee Gaskin

Tiger fans may have to wait another week for mid-season recruit Pickett to make his debut, with the midfielder listed as unavailable. Wellermissed last weekend's VFL match with a rib complaint after being added to the injury list early last week. Moore and Ross continue to hover around the 3-4 week mark, with the club being cautious with its young talent. - Sarah Black

Hannebery could return for Saturday night's clash with Melbourne. Webster hasn't been seen since round eight but could finally be back, probably via the VFL. Sam Rowe hurt an ankle playing for Sandringham but has overcome that issue. - Dinny Navaratnam

McGovern looks set to be cleared to take on North Melbourne this Saturday after tweaking his ankle late in the win over the Demons, while Hurntrained strongly on Tuesday to push his case after a slight calf strain. Vardy and Ah Chee were back in full training. Naitanui climbed some stairs alongside Duggan and Cripps on Tuesday as part of their rehab work and the big ruckman needs smooth progress to avoid surgery and keep his season alive. - Travis King

Forward Schache sustained a concussion after a heavy landing in the third quarter of the loss to St Kilda. Half-forward Richards is a chance to return to the side after missing last week with hamstring tightness. Injury-riddled utility Lukas Webb has been taken off the injury list and will be eyeing a return for Footscray after their bye this weekend. - Josh Schonafinger
