MIDFIELDER Liam Shiels could return for the Hawks’ Round 3 clash against Western Bulldogs on Sunday.

GM – Football Operations Chris Fagan said Shiels would need to undergo a test later this week, but would not be rushed back into the team if not ready. 

Fagan also spoke about progress being made by Luke Hodge – who could return sooner than anticipated – Bradley Hill, Jarryd Roughead, Matt Spangher, Jack Fitzpatrick and Ryan Burton.
