The Hawks are currently down in their second home of Launceston, one day into the club's five day pre-season training camp.

The trip will be Hawthorn's second training camp for the pre-season, having completed a five-day stint in Mooloolaba in December.

Defender James Sicily says the camp will put the players through their paces, with hard work and high intensity the focus.

"Today was about getting the body moving a bit more, little bit of skills, little bit of running," Sicily said.

"We also did some one v one stuff which took the wind out of a few of the boys, myself included."
