Hawthorn Assistant Coach Scott Burns has given fans an indication of what to expect in the club's final pre-season game against Melbourne in Launceston on Friday night.
Burns said the selection committee will name a side that will be near full-strength as the Hawks enter the final phase of preparation for season 2020.
"I think we're like any team in its last pre-season game, you're trying to take in nearly your best 22," Burns said.
"We'll always play one or two extras to reduce loads on a few players.
"But it's our last hit-out before we get serious for Round 1 so it's one of those games that you want everything ready."
Hawthorn will host Melbourne at UTAS Stadium at 7.30pm on Friday night.
