HAWTHORN will take on Melbourne in a practice match on Saturday in the lead-up to the Club’s season opener against Brisbane on 22 March.
The game will be played at Casey Fields in Cranbourne East, beginning at 1pm with entry for members and supporters FREE of charge.
The practice match follows two emphatic NAB Challenge victories for the Hawks, who defeated the Lions at Etihad Stadium by 131 points and North Melbourne at Aurora Stadium by 56 points.

The Club’s VFL affiliate, Box Hill will play a practice against Casey Scorpians following the Melbourne-Hawthorn practice match.
The Hawks open season 2014 in a twilight home game against Brisbane in Tasmania on Saturday 22 March.
