The #HawksCupTour was an epic journey that kicked off in Katherine in the Northern Territory, when the Club participated in the AFL Club Partnerships Program and ended at Parliament House in Canberra. It journeyed to Sydney and saw the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, Brisbane, Tasmania, Adelaide and one of its most famous churches, Perth and Cottesloe Beach then back to Melbourne and its new home, the Ricoh Centre.
The Club would like to thank all fans that joined us along the way and for sharing their 2013 AFL Premiership Cup photos at wearehawthorn.com.au. There were hundreds of entries and #HawksCupTour posts on Twitter and Instagram that has kept our 2013 Premiership celebrations alive!
The Cup will now be sent for polishing and to be engraved before being placed next to the 10 before it, in the reception of Ricoh Centre in the floor-to-ceiling glad cabinet that proudly displays over 50 years of Premiership success.
