The next game of Hawthorn’s 2020 fixture has been revealed, with the Hawks set to stay in Victoria and take on Gold Coast.
The Round 6 clash against the Suns will be played under Saturday night lights at the MCG.
While the AFL has confirmed there will be no crowds at the upcoming fixtured matches, Hawthorn CEO Justin Reeves says the club will continue to keep its members close to the action.
“With a lot of uncertainty still surrounding many aspects of the 2020 season, it’s fantastic to have another clash locked in for our members to look forward to,” Reeves said.
“With the Suns in impressive form, the game will be highly anticipated by the brown and gold faithful.
“We’re hopeful our loyal members will be back in the stands cheering the team on in the near future.
“In the meantime, we’re committed to bringing all our members exclusive match day access to ensure they can come on the journey with us.”
The 2020 season has been reduced to a 17-round format with the schedule of matches to be released in small blocks, allowing the AFL flexibility to adapt to changing coronavirus restrictions.
The Hawks have two games to play in the initial fixture block, with big clashes against North Melbourne and GWS in the coming fortnight.
