The Hawthorn Football Club held a competition in conjunction with The Glenferrie Traders Association offering an NEC Plasma to the best shop window display.
To get the ball rolling Hawthorn gave traders a pack with posters, ribbon and balloons and encouraged shop owners to be creative and add to their window.
There were so many great shop windows, some with their own products and some with Hawks pictures and posters.
Congratulations to all the shops who participated in this event, Glenferrie Road looks fantastic and the Hawks are loving it!
Milli Lulo was the winner of the NEC plasma, they created their own banner in brown and gold, and everything was self made by the staff and owners.
Milli Lulo had injured cats in their window as well as celebrities watching in the crowd with pom-poms.
Cafe FM had the field drawn on their window with all 22 players in their positions as well as decorations outside the store too.
Hair Odyssey used the packs from Hawthorn and cut out extra stars and incorprated their own products in the window.
