Hi Hawks members and supporters,

As part of the important work I do as Ambassador of ‘My Room’, some of my teammates and I, along with other AFL players and celebrities, will participate in the annual ‘On the Boot’ walk on Sunday 19 September.

The ‘My Room’ charity and ‘On the Boot’ event will raise money for the Children’s Cancer Centre at the Royal Childrens Hospital - to help give childhood cancer the boot.

Next Sunday, we will walk from the Royal Childrens Hospital to the Arden Street oval, where there will be rides for the kids, entertainment for the adults and a sausage sizzle too.

Some of my teammates will be there including Franky (Lance Franklin), Gibbo (Josh Gibson), Goo (Brent Guerra), Lewy (Jordan Lewis) and the big red Rough (Jarryd Roughead).

Plenty of other big names will also be in attendance like Crawf (Shane Crawford), JB (James Brayshaw), Sammy Newman, Gary Ablett Jnr, Chris Judd and Billy Brownless.

Please come down to Arden Street between 11am-2pm with your family and friends and help us raise money for a great cause.
